Junior Graphic Designer

Description:
LAB787 is currently recruiting a Junior Graphic Designer to work at a project basis at our offices in San Juan. The Junior Graphic Designer deliverables are likely to include, but are not limited to, assist with the design and execution of a range of printed and digital materials. The Junior Graphic Designer works under the direction of the Creative Director and also collaborates closely with project managers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, production experience, and proficiency in operating applications such as Adobe CS5 Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Experience in Power Point, Word and Excel, Google Sketchup and Autodesk 3dsMax2011 are a plus. BFA in graphic design preferred.

Requirements
• None to two years work experience.
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Photoshop software.
• Adeptness for file management and organization.
• Willingness to tackle projects in a variety of media.
• Ability to be proactive and work independently.
• Ability to work within established design and identity guidelines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of pre-press and printing a plus.
• Illustrative skills a plus.
• The desire to be part of a team and the ability to be an effective and productive collaborator.
